Today I was keeping working on my final piece, I have already did four out of the twelve, I really like my piece, and everything is working well at the moment. In the afternoon, I had a conversation with Susan, we go through my sketchbooks, works, and workflow. After she looked my work, and she asked me which artists and context did my work related to? I have shown my each experiments and explained to her how my final ideas come from, and she said that my final work is too simple and too easy, and she suggested to me of her ideas, what she thought my work should be like. I was not really happy about what she commented of my work, firstly I haven't finished my work, I was just starting to paint my background yet, when she have not see my finished work, she had already gave me her first impression. This attitude made me really uncomfortable, this is my work, I am not going to listen to her, also her major is textile, may be she is not specialised in fine art. She thought I should not to use oil paint in my final work, I should use sew machines and wires to make my final work, I have already started to use oil paints, so nothing can stop me.
