His work focuses on the two main functions of oil painting Interaction between: both as a gateway to another space of windows, again as pure physical existence. He was instrumental in the layering, interruption and textured treatment of oil paintings, the painting presents the shattered memories of human existence, which some memories are both intimate and distant. Wohlgemuth retained his interest in figurative images Interesting, not purely abstract, because of the images carry connotations and reference. The commonalities between people with observation, perception, and memory, it connects all together.

His painting style not just capturing a image, more like a memory, I think is create a really good connection with audience, makes them to link a special memory of their own.
